This epic African adventure engages the whole herd. At Roar, kids explore God’s goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life. The one-week program is FREE and open to children 3 years of age (potty trained) through age 11. Youth ages 12 and older can register as Youth Helpers. Adult Volunteers must have completed the Safe Environment course. The program will include Bible crafts, Bible stories, fun games, tasty snacks and lots of fun! Make plans now to attend. First Eucharist will take place at 8:30 a.m. Mass on May 12, Mother’s Day. The children will honor Mary with a May Crowning of flowers on Mary’s statue. Following the Mass, a reception will be held in the Parish Hall.

The annual Church Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The menu will be chicken, hamburgers, potato salad and baked beans. Lemonade, fruit punch and tea will be served to quench your thirst. The picnic is FREE and provided by the church in celebration of our parish family. We are asking that you bring a dessert or small individual bags of chips. Make sure you set the date aside and plan to join us for this wonderful family day!

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a Pancake Breakfast Sunday, February 10, from 8:00 a.m. to noon in the Parish Hall at $5.00 per plate. Proceeds are used to finance scholarships for our own Church Parish’s high school seniors. Come join us!

The Antonians’ Giving Tree is set up in the Church for items to be selected for clients of the Pregnancy Help Center in Slidell, Safe Harbor, Inc. (the Battered Women’s Shelter in Mandeville) and Free Indeed Home in Covington, a shelter for underage victims of human trafficking. Please choose a tag from the Christmas tree which will identify the needed donations. Donations should be dropped off in the boxes at the church entrance and in the Church Office before Thursday, December 20, at 4:00 p.m.
