Students will be required to wear a face mask, practice social distancing and wash hands frequently. There will be temperature checks upon entering the Parish Hall. PSR families will be asked to attend Mass live-streamed in the Parish Hall due to COVID guidelines (temperature checks, social distancing and handwashing). Following Mass, students will stay in the Parish Hall for instruction in the faith and families will not be allowed to socially gather in the hall after Mass and class. As usual, students are provided a 15-minute break for snacks. Instruction concludes at 11:15 a.m., at which time students are released to parents through a carpool line which files past the front door of the Parish Hall.

We are concerned not merely with the imparting of information, but also with the formation and development of faith as a response to the Word of God. Religious education provided by the parish serves to supplement, not supplant, the primary right and holy duty of the parents to educate their child in the Faith within the home.

Sts. Peter and Paul Parish is committed to the belief that adult religious education is essential to the faith of mature Catholics. In this era of change and re-evaluation, it is important for Catholics to be aware of the true and ever-constant teachings of the Church. Even more importantly, these adult programs can be a means of growth in one’s own spiritual life. See RCIA website page HERE.
In addition to adult religious education programs offered by the parish, parishioners are encouraged to participate, if at all possible, in workshops and courses offered in area parishes and seminaries.
Information concerning education programs offered through the parish, or elsewhere,
can be obtained by calling the Church Office at (985) 863-7935.
“The future of the world and the Church belongs to the younger generation, to those who, born in this century, will reach maturity in the next, the first century of the new millennium. Christ expects great things from young people.”
– words spoken by Pope John Paul II in his Apostolic Letter, Tertio Millennio Adveniente (On the Coming of the Third Millennium).
